Get the tools to handle the pressure

This workshop gives you practical and concrete tools to work with to harness and manage the experiences (as well as thoughts and feelings) that come from experiencing pressure in everyday life.

The methods we use are drawn from the psychological toolbox of elite sport – and we back them up with scientific facts in an engaging, practical and fun workshop.

If the pressure gets too high

Feeling too much pressure over time can be experienced as a stress condition. Stress in itself is not a disease or negative as such, it is a natural reaction to increased mental and/or physical stress. In fact, in isolation, we benefit greatly from short-term stress reactions as the aftermath gives our body and brain an extra boost and rebuild. This is also known as the “Law of Supercompensation” and is an amazing biological phenomenon. The Danish Health Authority writes about stress (read more here).

It’s when the pressure continues over time without sufficient recovery that it turns into long-term stress, which in the worst case scenario can have serious consequences for our health.

If the pressure is due to poor collaboration

Many people have experienced feeling “sick to their stomach” over poor teamwork or difficult relationships in the workplace. A lack of social cohesion and sense of community is a real source of stress and should be avoided by focusing on teamwork, communication and culture. Several of our team development workshops can also be used in this context. For example, it can be beneficial to dive into interpersonal relationships and different perceptions with our Understanding yourself and your team concept.

Whatever your needs, we will tailor the workshop to the situation and reality you find yourself in.
