A workplace summer party can be a great way to strengthen community, wellbeing, celebrate employees and create a positive work culture. In this guide, we’ll share some tips for creating a memorable company summer party. <\/p>\n

The first thing to consider is, of course, where your party will take place. Perhaps you have some obvious spaces in your office or some great outdoor areas, but if not, there are plenty of opportunities to find a great venue that suits your size. Summer parties are a great opportunity to do something outdoors, especially during the day when the weather is often at its best. Think about how you want to start your summer party. For example, it could be with a team building event<\/strong><\/a>which will be a good kick-starter to loosen up the atmosphere and get everyone talking and laughing with colleagues across the board. It could also be that you want a boat trip on the water that ends at your chosen venue. Therefore, choose a place with good opportunities in the area and be creative with your prelude. <\/p>\n

You’re going out and having fun. Have a good time! Often, you reading this are the adventurous type. Love fun, games and adrenaline-pumping experiences! That’s why you’ve been given the task of deciding what to do at your next after-work, team building or company party. But think about each individual in your group. There must be room for the introvert, the walking-impaired and the former top athlete. An activity that challenges everyone without making them feel uncomfortable or exposed can be extremely difficult to find. The larger the group, the harder it can be to keep an overview. But as long as everyone has a role where they feel they contribute to the overall result, you have embraced people. This means that everyone doesn’t have to be doing the same thing to be doing the same activity. Danes in particular find it easier to talk to each other when it happens while enjoying a drink – and it doesn’t matter if it tastes good either… <\/p>\n
